Pronto, the Bengaluru-based home services startup, has raised $25 million (₹228.9 crore) in a Series B funding round led by Epiq Capital, with participation from existing investors Glade Brook Capital, General Catalyst, and Bain Capital Ventures.
The round comes just six months after Pronto’s $11 million Series A, underscoring strong investor confidence in its fast-scaling 10-minute home services model.
Scaling 10-Minute Household Services
Founded in 2025 by Anjali Sardana, Pronto offers rapid, on-demand household services including:
- Sweeping and mopping
- Utensil washing
- Laundry assistance
- Kitchen cleaning
- Bathroom cleaning
Users can choose between instant, scheduled, or recurring bookings, making everyday chores more convenient for urban households.
The company reports explosive early traction:
- Daily bookings have grown from ~1,000 to over 18,000 within seven months
- Weekly growth exceeding 20% week-on-week
Expanding Across Cities and Micromarkets
Pronto currently operates across:
- Delhi NCR
- Bengaluru
- Mumbai
Overall, the platform has expanded to:
- 10 cities
- 150+ micromarkets
- Nearly 3,000 trained and background-verified service professionals
- Supported by a 60-member core team
The company recently moved its headquarters to Bengaluru, while maintaining customer support operations in Gurugram.
Use of Funds
The fresh capital will be deployed to:
- Hire and train additional service professionals
- Strengthen operations in existing markets
- Expand into new service categories
- Upgrade technology and logistics infrastructure
The company aims to deepen its hyperlocal footprint while maintaining service speed and reliability.
Positioned in a Competitive Market
Pronto operates in India’s rapidly growing on-demand home services sector, where startups are racing to formalise a largely unorganised industry.
Key tailwinds include:
- Rising urban incomes
- Growth of dual-income households
- Increasing demand for convenience
- App-first service behaviour
With strong investor backing and aggressive expansion, Pronto is positioning itself as a frontrunner in India’s emerging instant home services ecosystem, similar to how quick commerce transformed grocery delivery.
Why This Matters
The success of 10-minute grocery delivery has reshaped consumer expectations around speed and convenience. Pronto is applying the same playbook to household services — compressing booking-to-fulfilment time while standardising quality and trust.
If it can sustain operational efficiency at scale, Pronto could help redefine how urban India outsources everyday domestic tasks.
Looking Ahead
With fresh capital and rapid growth momentum, Pronto is entering its next phase of expansion. The challenge now will be balancing hypergrowth with quality control, supply reliability, and unit economics.
As India’s service economy becomes increasingly app-driven, Pronto’s bet on speed-first home services could carve out a durable new category in urban living.
